She started painting later in life, practicing and feeling her way with Chinese ink, rice paper, watercolor, pastel, pencil, gel pen, and other mediums. For her, the creative process is inspiring when the art comes from the heart. In her paintings, whether it is a tree, a rock, or a mountain, the subject becomes alive with a distinct personality.
